Juan didn't expect to be sleeping on a friend's recliner at 32 years old.

There are three things that Juan didn't know that he needed to learn...

Ok Let’s Dig Deeper… How Do You Start A Business? And What Does It Cost?


It’s actually pretty simple…

You register your business name with the state and the government… Takes about 15 minutes.

Then you take your paperwork and set up a bank account.

Then you get your insurance set up by contacting an insurance agent.

And now you’re in business.

There are a couple other things too… like licensing or setting up your website… but this is basically it.

And those other things are easy to do too. I’ll show you in a minute how to make it even easier.

How To Get Customers

There are a lot of ways you can start attracting customers right away…
 
Even if you don’t have any money to pay for marketing…

And even if you are a brand new company…

There is a ton of painting work… You just need to know how to find it!

Once you find customers who want an estimate, you just need to be slightly more professional than everyone else…

Show up on time.

Give them a professional proposal.

And go make a friend!

Getting a customer is about helping someone and giving them a fair price.

And if you know your trade, you know how to help them.

If you could help your grandma with her paint job, you can help anyone… And that’s how you win customers.

How To Hire Subcontractors


Once you have a job, you hire someone else to do the job.

But you don’t need to worry about payroll or employees or anything like that…

You just hire another painting contractor who has all their own equipment, good painters, etc…

And they fill out a W9 Form (you can google it)...

And then they paint the house for an agreed upon price!

If you sold the job for $3,000… Pay them less than that!

Well That’s Exactly What Juan Did - He Started His Business, Got His First Customers, And Hired A Subcontractor He Already Knew


In the first week, he sold 2 jobs for $8,000.

He paid his subcontractor $6,000 and his subcontractor bought the materials for the job...

His total profit on 2 jobs was $2,000!

And he didn’t even do any of the painting…

And because Juan used to be a painter, he knew how to treat his guys well…

So that same subcontractor kept working for him all summer long.

Ok Let’s Dig Deeper… How Do You Start A Business? And What Does It Cost?


It’s actually pretty simple…

You register your business name with the state and the government… Takes about 15 minutes.

Then you take your paperwork and set up a bank account.

Then you get your insurance set up by contacting an insurance agent.

And now you’re in business.

There are a couple other things too… like licensing or setting up your website… but this is basically it.

And those other things are easy to do too. I’ll show you in a minute how to make it even easier.

How To Get Customers

There are a lot of ways you can start attracting customers right away…
 
Even if you don’t have any money to pay for marketing…

And even if you are a brand new company…

There is a ton of painting work… You just need to know how to find it!

Once you find customers who want an estimate, you just need to be slightly more professional than everyone else…

Show up on time.

Give them a professional proposal.

And go make a friend!

Getting a customer is about helping someone and giving them a fair price.

And if you know your trade, you know how to help them.

If you could help your grandma with her paint job, you can help anyone… And that’s how you win customers.

How To Hire Subcontractors


Once you have a job, you hire someone else to do the job.

But you don’t need to worry about payroll or employees or anything like that…

You just hire another painting contractor who has all their own equipment, good painters, etc…

And they fill out a W9 Form (you can google it)...

And then they paint the house for an agreed upon price!

If you sold the job for $3,000… Pay them less than that!

Well That’s Exactly What Juan Did - He Started His Business, Got His First Customers, And Hired A Subcontractor He Already Knew


In the first week, he sold 2 jobs for $8,000.

He paid his subcontractor $6,000 and his subcontractor bought the materials for the job...

His total profit on 2 jobs was $2,000!

And he didn’t even do any of the painting…

And because Juan used to be a painter, he knew how to treat his guys well…

So that same subcontractor kept working for him all summer long.
